1. Josiah¹ Nelson (#2860) was born Cumberland County, Pa. about 1816.

He married Ellen Smith about 1838. (Ellen Smith is #2861.) Ellen was born York County, Pa. about 1817.

Josiah Nelson and Ellen Smith had the following children:

• 2 i. Margaret² Nelson (#2862) was born Pennsylvania 1840.

• 3 ii. Ann Nelson (#2863) was born Pennsylvania 1841.

• 4 iii. Mary Ellen Nelson (#251) was born Dover Twp., York Co., Pa March 22, 1844. Mary died May 31, 1927 Harrisburg, Pa, at 83 years of age. Her body was interred June 3, 1927 Shiremanstown Pennsylvania, St John's Graveyard. She married Wesley Winemiller about 1863. (Wesley Winemiller is #250.) Wesley was born Rye Twp Perry County Pennsylva August 1841. Wesley was the son of George Winemiller and Rachel Caldwell. Wesley died 1906 Cumberland County Pennsylvania, at 64 years of age. His body was interred Shiremanstown Pennsylvania, St John's Graveyard. (See Wesley Winemiller for the continuation of this line.)

• 5 iv. Robert Nelson (#2865) was born Pennsylvania 1845.

• 6 v. Maria K Nelson (#2866) was born Pennsylvania 1848.

• 7 vi. E Nelson (#2864) was born Pennsylvania 1854.
