1. Samuel¹ Plant (#948) was born before about 1828, the first event for which there is a recorded date.

Samuel Plant and Rebecca Washburn had the following child:

• 2 i. Mary Jane² Plant (#947) was born about 1828. Mary died November 1903 Weston St. Hosp, Weston, Lewis Co. Wv, at 75 years of age. Her body was interred Vandalia Cemetery. She married Noah Winemiller Lewis County, West Virgina, December 26, 1845. (Noah Winemiller is #946.) Noah was born Upshur County West Virgina November 1821. Noah was the son of Henry C Winemiller and Ellendor "Nelly". Noah died January 4, 1912 Georgetown, Lewis Co. West Virginia, at 90 years of age. His body was interred Georgetown, Mt Gilead Church Cemetery. (See Noah Winemiller for the continuation of this line.)
