71. George⁸ Winemiller (Michael⁷, Christopher (Stophel)⁶, Johannes (John)⁵ Weinmuller, Conrad⁴ Weinmueller, Johannes "Hans"³, Hans Friedrich II², Hans Friedrich I¹) (#257) was born Maryland May 7, 1811. George died February 14, 1883 Dover Twp., York Co., Pa, at 71 years of age. His body was interred Shiremanstown Pennsylvania, St John's Church Graveyard.

He married Rachel Caldwell about 1834. (Rachel Caldwell is #258.) Rachel was born Dover Twp., York Co., Pa September 26, 1814. Rachel was the daughter of William Caldwell and Roseanna. Rachel died June 13, 1880 Dover Twp., York Co., Pa, at 65 years of age. Her body was interred June 1880 Shiremanstown Pennsylvania, St John's Church Graveyard. George is found in Rye Township, Perry County, Pennsylvania in the 1840 and the 1850 US Census where he has a farm. The 1840 Census shows George with two sons under 10 years of age and one woman aged 50 to 60 years of age, along with his wife. The 1840 and 1850 Perry County tax records for Rye Township show that George has one horse, one cow and 70 acres of land. George moved to a new farm in Lower Allen Township, Cumberland County Pennsylvania for the 1860 & again for the 1870 US Census. The 1880 Census has George in Silver Spring Township. 144 iii.Lewis Winemiller (#260) was born Dover Twp., York Co., Pa February 13, 1838. Lewis died 1881 Ohio, at 43 years of age. His body was interred Galion Ohio. He married Rachel Ohio, about 1870. (Rachel is #1591.) Rachel was born about 1850.

+ 146 v.Jefferson D Winemiller was born June 1846.

147 vi.Mary Winemiller (#262) was born Perry County Pennsylvania 1849. Mary died 1927 at 78 years of age.

148 vii.Sarah (Sallie) Winemiller (#263) was born Perry County Pennsylvania 1852. She married Leslie H Singiser Cumberland County Pennsylvania, 1873. (Leslie H Singiser is #1262.) Leslie was born Cumberland County Pennsylvania 1852. Leslie was the son of Andrew Singiser and Annie Wyle. (See Leslie H Singiser for the continuation of this line.)

149 viii.Samuel K Winemiller (#264) was born Perry County Pennsylvania 1859. Samuel died 1912 at 53 years of age.
