He married Francis Skiver Posey County, Indiana, January 28, 1818. (Francis Skiver is #1377.) Francis was born Virginia 1791. Francis died December 20, 1879 at 88 years of age. Her body was interred Whittington, Illinois, Winemiller Cemetery.

James Winemiller and Francis Skiver had the following children:

• 6 iv. Sarah Winemiller (#1382) was born Indiana 1832. She married Elijah Duty Posey County, Indiana, January 29, 1849. (Elijah Duty is #2982.)

• 7 v. Roswell Winemiller (#1383) was born Indiana June 1835.

• 8 vi. Nancy Winemiller (#1384) was born Indiana about 1836. She married William Duty in Franklin County, Illinois, August 16, 1855. (William Duty is #2983.)

• 9 vii. Julia Ann Winemiller (#1385) was born Indiana about 1837. Julia died November 13, 1913 at 76 years of age. Her body was interred Benton, Illinois, Benton Cemetery. She married George Kirk in Franklin County, Illinois, January 1856. (George Kirk is #2984.)

• 10 viii. Jane Melvina Winemiller (#1386) was born Indiana May 11, 1839. Jane died October 9, 1913 at 74 years of age. Her body was interred Benton, Illinois, Benton Cemetery. She married Jasper Cipher in Franklin County, Illinois, April 24, 1861. (Jasper Cipher is #2985.) Jasper is the son of Nicholas Cipher.
